  • Newsletter sign-up: your email address.
  • Contact form: your name, your email address and the message you write.

Please don't include sensitive information (such as health or financial details) in messages you send us.

Information collected automatically

  • Technical data: like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you request and the date and time of your visit. This is used to deliver the website, keep it secure and prevent abuse.
  • Theme preference: if you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your own browser's local storage so the site remembers it. This stays on your device and is never sent to us.

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with trusted service providers who help us run the website:

We may also share information if required by law, to respond to valid legal requests, or to protect the rights, safety and property of Stitch & Crochet, our visitors or others.

Our service providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. When this happens, we rely on the safeguards these providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect your information.

7. How long we keep your information

  • Newsletter emails: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
  • Contact messages: up to 24 months, so we can follow up on your question, then deleted.
  • Technical logs: kept by our hosting provider for a short period, according to its own policy.
